Heo Jun Museum

The Heo Jun Museum commemorates the life and works of the renowned Joseon-era doctor and scholar, Heo Jun. The museum is located in Gayang-dong near Guam Park and the neighborhood is known as the birthplace of Heo Jun. Visitors can see a range of items relating to Oriental medicine, items once owned by Heo Jun, and medical books. Some of the books on display were written out by Heo Jun's hand. A writing model of his most famous work, "Dongui Bogam," is on display and it is still an influential medical tome in Oriental medicine today.
