The Choonwondang Museum of Korean Medicine first opened in 2008 and is dedicated to hanbang, also known as Oriental medicine. The museum spans 7 floors, from the B1 level to the 6th floor and there are exhibitions halls, a decocting room, a quality inspection facility, a cultural space, a doctor’s office and an infirmary. The museum's exhibition halls display various historical artifacts relating to Oriental medicine. Display pieces date from the Three Kingdoms era to the Joseon Dynasty. The museum is gaining popularity as a new cultural venue where people can learn about Korean culture and hanbang.
