About
The Jongienara Museum opened in 1999 as a Paper Art Museum and was established to revive and recreate Korea's world-class paper, K origami, and paper culture. Reopened as the Jongienara Museum in 2008, it goes beyond researching and introducing Korea's outstanding origami and paper culture. It pays attention to the excellent role of paper as a craft and art object, presenting the development of a new cultural art genre and modern paper culture and art. The excellence and creativity of Korean origami and paper culture are known to the public through the discovery, exhibitions, and education of current cultural paper artworks.
