Museum Kimchikan is located in Insa-dong, but at one time, the center was located in Samseon-dong and named the Kimchi Museum. Following the move to Insa-dong, the museum underwent a redesign in addition to the name change.
At Museum Kimchikan, visitors can learn about kimchi in all its different forms as well as use microscopes to view the lactic acid bacteria that helps make kimchi so healthy. Visitors can learn and even taste samples of different varieties of kimchi during their time at the museum. The museum also holds kimchi-making activities and classes and visitors should join in to learn how to make delicious kimchi themselves!
