Suggested Ingredients

For one 50g bag:

• 1kg chicken, cut into medium cubes

• 5 medium onions (approx. 300g), thinly sliced

• 1½ cups plain yogurt (approx. 300g)

• ½ tbsp garlic paste

• 1½ tbsp ginger paste

• ½–1 cup oil or ghee

• 1 bag (50g) Lazzat Chicken Curry Masala

• Fresh coriander for garnish

Cooking Directions

Fry the sliced onions in oil or ghee until light golden, then remove and allow them to cool. Add garlic paste to the remaining oil and fry briefly.

Add the chicken, yogurt, ginger paste and Lazzat Chicken Curry Masala. Cover and cook over low heat until the chicken becomes tender. Add water if required.

Add the crushed fried onions and continue cooking on low heat for approximately 5 minutes, or until the oil/ghee separates from the gravy.

Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan, tandoori roti, chapati or rice.
