🏠 Is it just me or is finding housing in Korea REALLY hard?

Hey guys,

I’ve been looking for a place for the past 2 weeks and honestly… I didn’t expect it to be this difficult 😅

Everywhere I check:

• Deposit is crazy high (like ₩10M+ 😭)

• Some agents don’t really want to deal with foreigners

• Contracts are confusing (jeonse vs wolse?? still trying to understand)

• And some places just straight up say “no foreigners”…

I’m currently staying short-term but need to find something soon.

🙏 Need some help:

• Any foreigner-friendly agents you recommend?

• Areas in Seoul with reasonable rent?

• Is it normal to negotiate deposit/rent?

Also… how do you guys make sure you don’t get scammed or lose your deposit?

Would really appreciate any advice 🙏

Honestly love living in Korea, but this part is stressful 😅
