🏠 Is it just me or is finding housing in Korea REALLY hard?
Hey guys,
I’ve been looking for a place for the past 2 weeks and honestly… I didn’t expect it to be this difficult 😅
Everywhere I check:
Deposit is crazy high (like ₩10M+ 😭)
Some agents don’t really want to deal with foreigners
Contracts are confusing (jeonse vs wolse?? still trying to understand)
And some places just straight up say “no foreigners”…
I’m currently staying short-term but need to find something soon.
🙏 Need some help:
Any foreigner-friendly agents you recommend?
Areas in Seoul with reasonable rent?
Is it normal to negotiate deposit/rent?
Also… how do you guys make sure you don’t get scammed or lose your deposit?
Would really appreciate any advice 🙏
Honestly love living in Korea, but this part is stressful 😅
